Brandaris Lighthouse
The Brandaris, built in 1594, is the oldest still-operating lighthouse in the Netherlands and the iconic symbol of Terschelling. A beacon has stood on this spot in West-Terschelling since 1323. Today, the tower is manned and serves as the main traffic control center for the entire Wadden Sea area. For the best view of the Brandaris, go to the Seinpaalduin.
